Welcome to Kindergarten!
Welcome to Kindergarten at Larkspur Elementary! We have a fun and exciting year in store! Mrs. Arnesen (Kindergarten Educational Assistant), Mrs. Joann (Volunteer) and I have been working to get the classroom ready for new students.
Please join us tomorrow, Wednesday, August 9th between 2:30-4:00 for an Ice Cream Social. You will be able to drop off school supplies, meet the teachers, and see the classroom. If you are unable to attend the afternoon session, Kindergarten will be offering an additional time from 5:30-6:30 for a meet and greet only in order to accommodate working families. It is important for our youngest kids to feel comfortable on their first day of school.
What your kindergartener needs the first day of school:
Backpack with an extra change of clothes
water bottle
2 snacks for full day students, 1 snack for 1/2 day students
Lunch for full-day students (Students may buy lunch from the cafeteria or bring a sack lunch
A supply fee of $60 will be collected from each student. This will cover the cost of all materials needed in kindergarten this year as well as pay for the graduation t-shirt. Please make checks payable to Larkspur Elementary.
Our first day of school is Thursday, August 10th! This year we are kicking off the year with a Superhero theme. Students have the option of wearing their favorite superhero shirt.
